Endgames Songfiction part 1
Pirogoeth stood overlooking her kingdom. The coastal city of Kuith shone like a diamond in her eyes. Tonight there would be a festival to celebrate her coronation. To the casual observer she seemed calm and ready, but on the inside she was nervous. She could sense something watching her from distance. The thought sent a shiver down her spine.
As she turned around to go back into her room, the alert bells began ringing. The Queen ran back to her balcony. From there she could see the banners of the Southern Kingdom of Reaht flying, hundreds of soldiers making their march towards her city. Panic gripped her but she would not allow it to overcome her. She had to ready her fortifications for the coming assault.
Every time that I look in the mirror
All these lines on my face getting clearer
The past is gone
It went by like dusk to dawn
Isn't that the way
Everybody's got their dues in life to pay
The fight between Kuith and Reaht stretched on for days without rest, and Pirogoeth, the new quee
Endgames Songfiction part 2
Pirogoeth walked with Largo, trying not to think about what happened over the last few days. Even as she fought it, the memories found their way into her thoughts. She saw the faces of her fallen comrades, twisted into a look of mindless hunger. Her first thought was one of joy as she saw her fallen soldiers standing back to their feet to rejoin the battle.
However, her moment of happiness had been cut short as former allies turned bitter enemies. The once dead soldiers began to attack anyone foolish enough to come near them, friend or foe. She tried to fight the tears as the images of Kuith burning to the ground blazed in her mind. Finally, her emotions overcame her. She dropped to her knees, unable to stand anymore, and began to cry.
It's buried deep within the past, I hope it doesn't last
It's something I already chased, I already chased
I try to give it all away, but it's never gonna fade
It's something I don't wanna face,
I don't wanna face
Largo looked down at the blonde-haired g

The fog rolled in silently, devouring all in its path. Not ten minutes ago, the sky was a rich blue, full of life. Now it was as cold and grey as death. Pirogoeth gave a slight shiver as she walked behind Largo, a task growing more difficult with each passing minute. Suddenly Largo stopped walking, causing Pirogoeth to run into him.
"We can't go any further," Said Largo, a mere silhouette in the thick fog. "Stay here, wench. I shan't be long."
"I have a name!" She said finally. "It is Pirogoeth, and you will do well to address me by it."
Her hands began to glow with her anger. She conjured the words of her favorite spell to her mind. Rending, flaying, shredding, and burning. All wrapped into one spell. However, before she could act, largo was already upon her. He tackled her to the ground, covering her mouth.
Storm coming in me, bad weather just makes me breathe
Watch as the sky turns grey, life ebbs and flows away
Wait, before I go, I'll make them all eat crow
Play the hand life deals
mechanici want to kiss every aching wound you have,
bandage your heart every time it bleeds,
and patch up your mind over and over
because not a single tear deserves to fall
from your brandy-drenched eyes
but this dripping heart of mine can only feel
and the healing honey words it flames get caught
in the back of my throat and on the roof of my mouth
so i only have these passionate guttural cries
to tell you that i care all too much
and in order to fix you up again,
i would need to tear myself to tatters
and trade all of my working parts
for your leftover, fading pieces
but i just haven’t figured out how.
